About the Artist Bill Hunt
After a global career leading real estate expansion across five continents, Bill Hunt retired to Central Oregon and discovered a new passion in wood carving. Using reclaimed 100-year-old cedar fence posts, juniper, and rare persimmon wood golf clubs, Bill creates one-of-a-kind hand-carved ducks, fish, and golf art that reflect craftsmanship, history, and the outdoor lifestyle of the High Desert. Based in Redmond, Oregon, his work is inspired by fishing, golf, and the natural materials of the region, and has been featured in arts and craft shows throughout Central Oregon.

The Dry Canyon Arts Association of Redmond, Oregon selects an Artist of the Month to highlight local talent through a professionally produced artist video. For November 2023, Bill Hunt, a Redmond-based woodcarver known for his handcrafted wood carvings, was selected as Artist of the Month.
